Finally 3.3 investments pay off...

... it appears that the price of arctic fur, saronite and titanium have started drifting upwards after several weeks of the latest patch. No longer do I need to transfer fur across to the horde side to be able to sell for prices over 50g. Stacks of saronite ore are brushing 20g and still going up.

I was pondering the reasons why - and my partner put up an idea which I can't see any it wouldn't be a valid reason.

Basically she said that with more and more wow gold blogs etc being written, and therefore more and more people reading these - the amount of saronite and borean leather which was being stored for the 3.3 was huge.

Only now, after weeks of impatient players selling off their stocks at minimal profit levels - that demand has finally exceeded supply. So now, those stores of leather and saronite finally start to allow us to generate real profit. Patience wins again!

If this is indeed correct (and my partner is rarely wrong) then we all have to judge when the market reaches its maximum. If prices will not peak for another week, then it could be worth waiting. However a week's a long time in WoW - so are you willing to take the risk?

Is this price increase being seen on other servers? And do you have other explainations for the sudden price increase?

Yeah damn! Arctic Furs were really low on my server but it seems they've finally picked up. I still sell one at a time, no sense in rushing it.
